- Q - Is Shady Knoll Home a smoke-free facility?
A - Yes it is! Smoking is not permitted
inside the facility.
- Q - Are there individual rooms available?
A - Yes and No. Depending on the census
at the time, residents may or may not have an individual room. It just
depends on how many residents we have at the time.
- Q - Does your staff have any on-going training?
A - Yes. Our staff has yearly state
certified continuing educational training. See our
About Us page on specific training they receive.
- Q - How are medications monitored?
A - Our trained staff distribute
resident medications four times daily or as needed to our residents.
These medications are prescribed medications by our local medical doctors
and filled by our local pharmacy. All medications are locked in a secure
area.
- Q - How are medical emergencies handled?
A - We use Burnett Medical Center which is located within two blocks
from our facility.
- Q - What are your payment arrangements?
A - There are two main ways that individuals
pay. 1. Privately. Residents or loved ones privately pay for
the residents stay. 2. Subsidized programs through the county. For more information
